I built my first website at ten. Years later, Ellie and I decided to make a life out of it.
That first site was for a rugby team of London Stock Exchange brokers. I taught myself to code to finish it. In 2018, Ellie and I went all in on websites. South Digital followed in 2019.
For five years, we designed, built and wrote everything ourselves. As the waiting list grew, we realised doing it all wasn’t the best way to serve our clients—or enjoy the work.
So we brought in specialists. Ellie and I still design and build every day, alongside people who are excellent at their part of the work. We wouldn’t go back to doing it alone.
